Instead of wasting too much time on my search for a good biscuit recipe, I went straight to the source. I watched the video and read the recipe and followed it to the letter - Southern Living's favorite buttermilk biscuits.
I used a rolling pin from my great grandmother, Grandma Massey. The red gingham apron was given to my mom by one of her students many years ago.
The biscuits were great plain, with butter, or with jelly, but I decided to make a very special breakfast last Friday morning.
Bacon, egg, and cheese on a buttermilk biscuit. I'm pretty proud of myself for this one.
