I started my summer break with a couple of quick trips with best friends. Allison and I had a wind down Wednesday at Wrightsville Beach. We ate lunch at Sweet N Savory then got a little too much sun on the beach, while chatting, reading, and napping. I used to think people were crazy for driving all the way to the beach for only one day, but ours was the perfect daycation.
On Friday, I headed to Charlotte to celebrate Lindsay's birthday with her friends there. Thank you to Tom for the photo! We had a fun dinner and night out, then Tom cooked us a great breakfast before I went home. This girl is my bff (best fashion friend), and I love getting ready for a night out with her, especially talking clothes, hair, makeup, and the more important things in life, too.
My first few days truly off work (after the extra days finishing up...) went by way too quickly, but I've enjoyed summer so far! I'm looking forward to the rest of it, and I am SO thankful for good friends. Please don't ask me when I go back to work :)
