Tropical island necessities: machete and coconut.
Zack enjoyed the fried plantains, while I ate fish and the Bahamian signature dish, beans and rice, for nearly every meal.
Each evening, sea turtles visited the cove where we stayed.
We explored by bicycle and by boat.
Then, we tried to identify everywhere we'd been from the air on our way out.
We came home with some pretty coins to add to our foreign currency collection.
No one wants to wake up before light, but sunrise views from the air can't be beat.
